A race to get somewhere

there's no moving forwards or backwards

There's no movement at all

The illusory self, trying to make a life for itself

Becoming successful, getting a career

Making a family, traveling, buying houses and car's

Being and looking a certain way

Ties itself to religious, spiritual and self help philosophies

It's always trying to get somewhere, improve something

And all along, it's going nowhere

The illusory self, has no more reality to it, then bugs bunny or mickey mouse does

It's entirely fictional, it's not speaking, walking or creating

It can't touch anything and it can't even be touched
