The rise and fall of Pinocchio

Every apparent me is Pinocchio

Proving to itself and apparent others that it's real, that it has a life

This can appear to show as being humble and kind, it can also appear

To be arrogant and selfish

All imaginary characters are drunkenly showing up, with false posses of

Having control and choice

Pinocchio once said, I'm a real boy

This is what the illusory self is protesting for, reminding itself over and over again

That it's real, it exists

Prove yourself brave, truthful and unselfish and someday, you will be a real boy

Sound familiar?

Prove yourself?

From an early age, we were given the same artificial crap

One day, you'll need to take control of your own life

You'll have responsibility and there will be consequences

Poor Pinocchio, that's not the story he signed up for

In every story, there's a past, present and future

For an individual person who has free will and choice

Sometimes in the story, there's an apparent seeing, that you

Just like Pinocchio, are not pulling the strings but are being pulled

By the strings
